Art as Survival
I adopted the role of an artist as a survival tool.
Let me tell you why.
At 12 years old, I arrived in Israel as a new immigrant. Shy, with zero self-esteem, nothing prepared me to integrate into a foreign society of youngsters. I struggled with Hebrew; they didn't speak English.
Israel isn't a society where you "ask permission" – it's one where you claim your position. I had only one way to make an impression: I invented an impressive reality for myself.
Since then, I've been creating realities as a mode of survival. This became the foundation of my art – a multi-tool for existence. My invented realities serve as predictions, wake-up calls to critique society, or simply beauty created for its own sake. Throughout my life, I've transformed these invented realities into tangible creations.
This website offers a glimpse into my invented worlds. For a deeper exploration, you're welcome to contact me.
My only permanent address is my IP: 84.228.228.63
