The Social Network

"The Social Network" is a series of dozens of installations based on connections between objects that people have discarded on the street. Sculptural graffiti works. The process included collecting and sorting discarded objects that were thrown out, expelled, or removed from homes throughout the city, while dismantling and reassembling them. Each installation is a one-time event, a type of three-dimensional graffiti, a one-time guerrilla action, a kind of "we came, we left our mark, and we left." The works were sculpted on the street using objects we collected on the day we created the work, photographed and left behind.

In addition to the street works, we exhibited The Social Network in exhibitions:

"Lab Report" Shafdan, Curator: Galia Yahav.

"Disruptions" on a pair of benches on Mazeh Street, Curator: Sally Haftel as part of Tel Aviv Art Lovers.

"Under the Lamppost" Kibbutz Ein Shemer. Curator: Atar Geva.

"Art Lovers on Wheels" 4 schools in Tel Aviv.
